Electrical Stimulation Treatment on Dog

Electrical stimulation or neuromuscular electrical stimulation consists of the application of transcutaneous electrical pulsations that induces involuntary muscle contractions. It is a therapeutic modality frequently used for rehabilitation as it has proven to be effective for pain relief (TENS) and to help reduce muscle atrophy (NMES).
